Famous Hanuman Temples by Rgyan


Lord Hanuman is said to be the only living God and is followed by many. People have claimed to feel his presence and have experienced highly positive developments by following him with dedication. Hanuman is worshiped in innumerable temples in India and even around the world. However, there are some which are considered to be highly miraculous.

Hanuman garhi, Ayodhya – Uttar Pradesh

Temple Timings: 5:00AM to 10:00PM
This temple in Ayodhya is built on a hill that stands on the right side of River Saray. To reach this temple, people need to climb 76 stairs. The idol of Lord Hanuman here is only 6 inches long.
It is believed that Lord Hanuman used to stay at this place. He used to live here to protect Janmabhoomi or Ramkot. It is believed that the wishes of devotees are sure to be fulfilled on visit to this shrine.

Balaji Hanuman Temple – Rajasthan

Temple Timings: 6:00AM to 9:00PM
This temple has stunned even science when it comes to its miracles. The idol which represents Lord Hanuman is actually a stone which had come all by itself (aapprakkat). This temple is located in the Dausa district of the Indian state of Rajasthan.
One of a kind – this temple is a practitioner of exorcism. You will find many people coming from different parts of the world to ward off evil spirits. Some even say that this holy place is bestowed with such power that it could turn atheistic to a theist.

Salasar Hanuman Temple – Rajasthan

Temple Timings: 6:00AM to 9:00PM
This temple is located in The Churu District of Rajasthan and is a religious destination on The Jaipur- Bikaner Highway. It is believed that the idol here was self created and hold a major set of powers. This temple has a unique look of Lord Hanuman with a beard, a moustache, tilak on forehead, beautiful eyes and knotty eyebrows. Salasar Balaji Temple or Salasar Dham is recognized as most influential & miraculous place for all devotee of Lord Hanuman. Most of devotees visiting this place have faith and belief as per the miracle that has happened in their life, that whosoever visits this place with pure devotion has always got his wish fulfilled.

Hanumandhara Temple – Chitrakut

Temple Timings: 5:00AM to 10:00PM
This is the place where the favourite of Lord Hanuman – Lord Ram has spent most of his time during exile. Here, there is an old idol of Lord Hanuman standing against a mountain for years. And a small water flow that meets the river and touches this idol. This is a must visit place for Hanuman devotees as it is quite auspicious.

Sankatmochan Temple – UP

Temple Timings: 5:00AM to 10:00PM
Benaras is an ancient place associated with Hanuman’s name. The huge temple here, known as Sankatmochan is believed to be established by Tulsidas himself. Sankat Mochan Temple is dedicated to the Lord Hanuman. This temple is also called as the Monkey temple because of the presence of lot of monkeys inside the premises. It is one of the holy temples of the Lord Hanuman and the main location for Hindus for their many religious as well as cultural festivals. It is located in the southern part of the Varanasi, on the way to the Durga Mandir and New Vishwanath temple BHU, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
